I believe it was an IMZY Photoshop Battle. Might have been an omen because I discovered that the level of activity on IMZY's PS-battle community was nowhere near its reddit counterpart.

I stopped posting to that community and started posting animations to more populated areas where they might be seen. That's when I started building a reputation as an animator.
