Imzy Exiles

I know it officially gets frozen on the 16th but I expect issues like this during the final stretch.

An artist friend drew me one last imzysaurus, which I animated and posted to the imzysaurus community while it's still up.

I drew so many imzysauruses during my IMZY year.

I loved that he was so easy to draw in so many different styles. You just needed a few basic things to identify him. Those three horns. Green skin. Spiked tail.

I imagined him as a corporate mascot in the vein of Mickey Mouse. I wanted to see him appear in animated shorts. I was fascinated with the idea of helping to launch a mascot. And if nothing else, I believed they had an adorable mascot in him.

He'll live on as an increasing obscurity. Like the Pets.com mascot...

I made so many IMZY animations in the year I was there, and they're all gonna get wiped out so I'm rehosting a good selection of them and I'll share here. With some commentary. My own little way of paying tribute to the time there.
